Weekly Observations
- Solar permits bumped up again this week, now close to the highs of 2019 @ 1,400/week.
- For September, another sequential increase, and marked the first YoY gain vs last year. East Coast and Southwest have been strongest. Should set up for strong installations in Q4
- For YEAR IN TOTAL, solar permits on track to be up ~5% y/y. This is lower than expectations at the beginning of the year, but much better than early post-covid expectations.
